Repurpose and Upcycle is a DIY, craft and budget home decor blog.
I’ve got tons of easy DIY’s, furniture flips and home decor tips (on a budget of course).
First let me share my WHY:
I love anything old– no matter what it is, it has a story to tell. Everyone has a story right? Even a home or a vintage desk.
I love to create something out of nothing – I believe everything and everyone needs a second chance.
I love to share and connect with other like minded repurpose and up cycler’s (is that a word? lol) – My passion is in creating, and I love more than anything to find others who enjoy this same passion as well.
I love to create on a budget – One of the heartbeats of this blog is creating something on a very strict budget. Even if I had lots of money, I think I would still find joy in creating something that others could afford to create too. What’s the fun if you can just buy it?
Now that you know my WHY, let me show you the HOW and WHERE:
Since the creation of this blog we’ve lived in two homes.
The first home, our basic builder grade to modern farmhouse home, was where I started this blogging journey.
I spent three years updating this very basic builder grade home with all sorts of modern farmhouse touches (all on a budget of course!).
Our second and current home (since starting the blog), our rustic beach cottage, is where I’ve really found my style.
Although this home was fairly updated already when we moved in, we’ve made a lot of small updates to make it our own.
If you aren’t looking for home updates, maybe you’re looking for furniture flips?
I’ve got a comprehensive list of Painting and Refinishing posts WITH VIDEOS.
