We have moved! You might have seen the last post where we said goodbye to our rustic beach cottage and wondered where we were headed next…… here it is; our Cozy Craftsman.
This home is 100% different than our last home. It’s not at all what or where we thought we would end up, but after really weighing lots of options, we decided this home was the best option for us for at least the next 5-8 years. There were so many things that went into this decision, and maybe one day I’ll get into them.
For now, let me show you our new home BEFORE I get my hands on it. This will be a quick post that shares a handful of before pictures.
By the way, new paint and new flooring are in the process of being installed as we speak. These pictures were taken right after closing.
The dining and living area
I never thought I would go back to a combined dining and living area, but this just fits our family life stage for now.
We’ve owned a handful of homes, and this is the first one with a gas fireplace! I’m so excited.
Like I said, I never thought I would go back to the combined living/dining, but after living with mostly separate room areas, I’m ready to go back to the open concept.
After living with a separate living room/kitchen/dining area, it will be nice to have it all in one area (I think at least).
I’m really excited about this entryway! I can picture ceiling beams and maybe some wall moulding, what do you think?
Speaking of hallways, this is another one that I need to get my hands on. It’s dark and dreary, so I need some ideas to brighten it up!
This is a large master bedroom compared to what we are used to. I can’t wait to have more space!

The 4th bedroom will become the office/craft room. I’ve never had a dedicated craft room before so this should be fun!
This will be my sons room.
And this will be my daughters room, without the purple of course.
