Up until a year ago I had never heard of a rain chain. A friend asked me where I would suggest buying one and I was like, “huh?” Needless to say I was highly intrigued and needed to know more about this new decorative trend in gutters.
Once I knew what they were, I started seeing them everywhere! I live on the gulf coast and we get A LOT of rain down here. As a matter of fact, if you’ve ever driven the beautiful roads of (or near) Hwy 30A in Destin you’ve probably seen them installed on lots of beach homes. They are definitely trending in that area. And why not? Not only do they look nice but they also make a soft and peaceful noise when the rain falls down them. Win win!
