My personal favorite Greige color
On a personal note; my favorite greige color is Sherwin Williams Drift of Mist. As a matter of fact, my entire house is painted in it!
You can see below where the wall (above the white wainscotting) is painted a little darker greige color. You can see more of this space with my chippy door post here.

Or you can see another example of this color in my home in our master bedroom. You can really see the gray/ beige tones against the gray barn door and white molding.

In different lighting this color takes on either a gray color or a lighter beige color and I just love it! I think it’s the perfect neutral that goes with brown, gray, light and dark hues.
Choosing a greige paint color
If I could give you any advice when choosing the right paint, always choose a lighter colored paint (even lighter than you would have initially chosen) if it’s in a room that doesn’t get a lot of light. If the room already gets a lot of natural light you could go with a darker shade of greige.
Always remember, sample the paint shade first before you commit to buying a gallon!
Wall paint colors should subtly accent the rest of the furniture and accessories in your home, not be the focus!
