Can you believe we’ve almost rounded the corner to say good bye to 2020? I have to say I’ve never been more excited to see the Christmas season and the anticipation of ringing in a new year. Before we say goodbye to this year I wanted to share my Christmas mantel with our tone on tone feature wall and cozy electric fireplace.

I started this DIY Tone on Tone Feature Wall with Built In Bookshelves a few years ago. Originally it only had a faux birchwood fireplace insert.
Just recently I removed the faux birchwood fireplace and created a DIY raised electric fireplace hearth.
I’m so happy to finally have a real (or electric) fireplace to hang stockings above!

I purchased those two pencil size pre lit Christmas trees at Walmart for only $89 each! I think they fit perfectly in this space.

I didn’t do any fancy holiday decor. As a matter of fact, the only thing new here are the Christmas trees.

I used existing Christmas tree ornaments that I had from years past and I added a few burlap ribbon pieces to tie the stockings in with the rest of the space.

There is nothing better than the twinkly lights at Christmas.

Those pillows around the fireplace are a DIY no sew project made from canvas gift bags!

My cat even wanted to see the new Christmas mantel and Christmas trees. Let’s be honest, all she wanted to do is chew on them.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my tone on tone feature wall all decorated for Christmas!
