Joss and Main Sponsored Back Porch Refresh

This post is sponsored by Joss and Main. As always, all opinions are my own.

It’s that time of year again! It’s time to shake off the pollen and pouf the outdoor pillows! What I really mean is that it’s time for a back porch refresh. It was about this time last year when we completed our cottage style back porch makeover. We have enjoyed this space so much! After a full year of elements (including a major hurricane and random hail storm) it’s time to spruce this porch up. With a little help from Joss and Main I can’t wait to show you what it looks like now.

The first thing on my list to “refresh” or replace was the old rug. I probably could have scrubbed it and washed it off, but it’s been through a lot this past year so I took my losses and found a few new ones!

When I was looking for rugs I wanted two rather than one larger one (like I just got rid of). Rugs can delineate one space from another if you place them wisely. Since this porch is long and narrow I wanted to create a “eating/grilling” area and separate it from the “sitting” area.

These two Geometric Gray indoor/outdoor rugs helped do that perfectly! I loved the neutral colors in the rugs that went with the rest of this porch so well.

Also, we needed a new door mat and this one was too cute to pass up!

We swapped out some older cushions for these coral colored Seat Cushion from Sunbrella. They are much more comfortable than the old ones and you can’t go wrong with the durability from Sunbrella.

I also added a few small hanging planters to this corner area. I hung them high to prevent them from swaying too much with the wind.

I added a few Rosemary Plants to them and I love how they look!

This cute sitting area was the perfect place to add the Berez Plant Stand from Joss and Main. I love the different levels. It’s going to be great to hold drinks or plants or whatever we need to use it for!
